Arcadis and Data for Good are joining forces to make big data from cities and villages accessible and understandable for everyone!

Data for Good – the social media platform with free data exchange is joining forces with Arcadis worldwide.

Arcadis measures cities annually on the topics People, Planet, Profit and presents this overview in the Arcadis Sustainable City Index. Data for Good visualizes the Sustainable City Index interactively on the Data for Good map to stimulate and accelerate the use of the index.

Data for Good has the strategy to measure all cities and towns worldwide in the future on the basis of publicly verified data from various data sources. Data can be obtained from publicly verified sources such as the Arcadis Sustainable City Index, but companies and citizens can also report via the social media platform on the geographical areas where they live or are located.

“Data is a precious thing and will last longer than the systems themselves! That is why Data for Good is a multigenerational data exchange where people can use their voice and knowledge for good purposes. Investors and governments can use Data for Good as a compass to measure their assets from generation to generation for economic and environmental stability, this facilitates better investment decisions. ” Kelly Ruigrok, Founder of Data for Good and the National Sustainability Institute.
